He also has one younger sister Pooja who is also an actress. Her early school was in Coimbatore in Avila convent school. Later she moved to Tbilisi to pursue a medical career. Controversies
In recent times, she has landed in controversy for making statements on Kashmiri pandits. While giving an interview on Andhra she compared Kashmiri pandits with cow vigilantism. While sharing her opinion on Kashmir files Sai Pallavi mentioned that ” Kashmir files mentioned how pandits in the valley were killed. If you are taking this conflict as religious belief then in recent times a bus driver who was transporting cows was beaten up. So where is the difference? So a war should be between two equal persons”.
Her comments become a huge discussion on different social media platforms. Later she clarified through her Instagram account that she grew up in a neutral environment so for her being a good human being is more important than religion. Her statement was misunderstood. Various religious beliefs also filed FIR for her statement.
